Massicci
design Marco Zito
Made of cast glass and shaped through fire, Massicci reveals the expressive depth of a material tested to its limits. Designed by Marco Zito, each pool is formed by pouring molten glass into a mold, creating a monolithic volume with a subtly ribbed surface – a natural imprint of the cooling process. In transparent and ochre yellow colours, Massicci absorbs and refracts light in unexpected ways, interacting with the environment and the water, creating ever-changing reflections. As the designer says: “It’s not about drawing the form, but the material itself – the soCover plate glass absorbs light and speaks to the environment in a way that borders on magic.”
